From childhood I have always had a great fascination for psychic matters. With clairvoyants on both sides of my family, I was encouraged to develop my gifts from an early age. I started to work professionally ten years ago, after having sat in Brenda Diskin's development circle.
I have given readings privately, taken part in party bookings (most recently Sotheby's Christmas party, 2007) and worked in shops in London and the South coast.
As well as working with Tarot cards, I also use Psychometry. I am also able to give readings from Photographs and have used Animal cards and the I Ching.
My tarot readings are given using one of my many various decks (including Rider - Waite, Morgan - Greer, Robin Wood, and Cosmic) and I have also developed my own personal deck, comprised of postcards collected from my travels to over 30 countries.
My hands have always been a very important asset in my career as a pianist and for many years I have felt the urge to use them to heal. As a result of this I studied to be a Reiki Master and then went on to become a Shiatsu Practitioner both of which I find work extremely well with some amazing results. I undertook all three levels of Reiki attunement with Brenda Diskin, and studied Shiatsu at the London College of Shiatsu. I have also taken part in seminars on Craniosacral Therapy and Postural Dynamics. As well as studying the practical applications of Shiatsu and Reiki, I have also made an in depth study of Oriental Theory and Chinese Traditional Medicine. I am especially interested in viewing my clients in a holistic way and consider that the treatments that I offer can help people maintain their health.

Shiatsu literally translated means 'finger pressure'.

Shiatsu is based on the same principles as acupuncture but without the needles, concentrating on meridians or energy lines. Everything is related to the five elements that correspond to different parts of the body:
Heart = Fire
Kidneys = Water
Spleen = Earth
Lungs = Metal
Liver = Wood

The treatment is given with the client fully clothed on a floor-level futon. It is advisable to wear loose, comfortable clothing for your treatment.
The idea, as in acupuncture, is to balance the life energy in the body which is disturbed when we become ill. Through a series of finger pressures all over the body along the meridians or pathways, Shiatsu can rebalance the body's energies, regulate the function of the organs and improve circulation. By releasing the body's natural energy flow, our self-healing process is able to take place. Shiatsu practitioners often use their elbows, knees and feet as well as their fingers during therapy, but they seldom use the palms of their hands unlike other traditional Western contact therapies. A Shiatsu treatment will last up to 1 hour and the amount of treatments you will require will be determined by your practitioner at your first visit. It is advisable not to eat anything, drink any alcohol or have a hot bath for about an hour before and after the visit. The practitioner will take into account details about your lifestyle in general and will ask you about any health problems and your medical history.
